How to Buy XRP
Unfortunately Ripple, the company, does not sell XRP directly to consumers. It can be quite difficult for the average user on the internet to purchase XRP and the recent press about Ripple has a lot of people wondering how. I hope this guide helps.
An easy way of acquiring XRP is by purchasing BTC on Coinbase, a provider of Bitcoin consumer wallets, and exchanging BTC for XRP using Changelly, a cryptocurrency exchange. Coinbase allows for instant purchases of BTC with your credit card, debit card or bank account from select countries. Changelly allows you to instantly exchange your BTC for XRP. This means that once your accounts are confirmed, you should be able to follow these steps to purchase XRP with relative ease almost instantly anytime you want. No more costly International wire transfers that take days to clear.
You are still going to need to know a bit about how gateways/wallet providers work. Most gateways/wallet providers have FAQ sections, or you can email their support team's directly. Alternatively, you can seek out help at one of the resources I've listed at the bottom of this page.

4. Enter your Ripple address. Be sure to check with your Ripple wallet provider to see if you need to provide a destination tag. Select Next.
5. Confirm your details. Select Confirm and Make Payment.
6. In Coinbase, make a payment for the amount of BTC you entered in Step 2 to the address provided. In this case, you would send 0.01 BTC to 1LXPCjgxwNEzynjWM8jEju3yo7GosKGVa3.
Changelly will automatically exchange your BTC for XRP and send it to the Ripple address you entered. You should then be able to log into your Ripple wallet and view your balances.
